R-PUR is on a mission to protect all populations from the risks to health hazards related to air pollution, through technological innovations adapted to all environments.

The WHO estimates that around 90% of the world’s inhabitants breathe polluted air. 7 million people die each year from exposure to fine particles, including 49,000 in France.

Founded in 2016 by Matthieu Lecuyer and Flavien Hello with the goal to help billions of people protect their health, R-PUR has developed high-tech anti-pollution masks with the most effective filtering technology in the world.

Both R-PUR founders became aware of the problem of air pollution as users of two wheels. While they were looking for a truly effective solution to protect themselves from fine particles during their daily journeys, they realized that existing masks were both uncomfortable and ineffective. After two years of research and development, R-PUR released its first mask in 2018, the R-PUR Nano® One capable of filtering 99.98% of particles from the air. The company’s mask offering is now significantly larger and supports sports practice, cycling, and soon a mask for urban pedestrian.
