Founded in 2013 by Pierre Dubuc and Mathieu Nebra, OpenClassrooms is a global online education-to-employment platform. It offers +50 competency-based training programs with individual mentorship. Those programs lead to nationally accredited bachelor’s and master’s level diplomas, in fields with high demand such as web and mobile development, UX design, data science, digital marketing or instructional design.
OpenClassrooms develops intentional strategies to offer educational opportunities to individuals from underserved communities (job seekers, underqualified, underserved areas, people with disabilities or refugees). To date, 70% of students don’t pay for their studies which are assumed by social or corporate upskilling programs. OpenClassrooms refunds tuition to students who aren’t hired or back to work within 6 months.
The Covid 19 pandemic has accelerated a global shift towards online education. With its unique range of high-quality reskilling and upskilling programs, OpenClassrooms answers the flourishing demand for quality professional education, serving individuals and a growing number of companies and public authorities. OpenClassrooms also offers innovative solutions to train the right talent and foster diversity.
OpenClassrooms has an ambitious goal: by 2025, the platform will help 1 million students find jobs and advance their careers each year.
