HubCycle unlocks the value of industrial food waste and makes upcycling a reality.

Founded in 2016 by Julien Lesage, HubCycle bridges the gap between food industrial willing to get rid of their by-products, and other industrials, who might use them as a raw material. This innovative positioning allows them to source top quality and cheaper ingredients while having a positive impact on the environment.

More than half the food produced in the world is wasted before it evens reaches consumers. To feed 9 billion people in 2050 and with food prices rising, there is an urgent need to change.

HubCycle started out as a marketplace, and then evolved to become a whole ingredient provider. It has today a catalogue with 300 ingredients and has contributed to more than 900 R&D projects with 30 prestigious clients in food, cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry.
