Mehdi Belkahla

In 2025, Mehdi launched Margin Ventures, in strategic partnership with Citizen Capital, a fund designed to support underrepresented entrepreneurs and make the tech ecosystem more inclusive.

Mehdi previously joined Citizen Capital in 2020, working as part of the Growth team.

Before that, he worked as an Associate at Rothschild & Co in the Global Advisory team, advising companies and investment funds on M&A and financing transactions in various sectors such as telecoms, retail, and services. He also completed internships at Ardian (Private Equity) and Morgan Stanley (Real Estate M&A).

A graduate of ESCP Business School, he also studied at Queen’s University in Canada.

Passionate about issues of inclusion and social mobility, Mehdi has been involved with the Article 1 association, first as a mentee and then as a mentor. Citizen Capital supports this association through its Citizen CIS fund, dedicated to equal opportunities.

At Citizen Capital, I discovered how investment can be a lever for social impact. With Margin Ventures, I want to extend this mission by opening up access to financing to everyone and contributing to a more inclusive tech ecosystem.
