Léa Malaterre

Léa joined Citizen Capital in early 2024 as an Associate in the Growth team and was elected to the Mission Committee by the entire team in 2025.

She began her career at Weinberg Capital Partners’ impact fund, where she helped finance SMEs with a positive impact on society or the environment through growth capital and LBO transactions. Léa notably supported companies in the energy transition sector (circular economy, renewable energies).

A graduate of Sciences Po Aix in International Affairs and holder of a Master’s degree from ESSEC Business School with a specialization in corporate finance, she also studied at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney.

She is particularly interested in issues of sobriety and social justice.
