Laurence co-founded Citizen Capital with Pierre-Olivier in 2008. She now oversees impact policy and management, public affairs, and communications. Laurence sits on the investment committee for all Citizen funds and plays a key role in driving the company’s strategic growth.
Laurence has played a leading role in the growth of the impact investing sector in France. She co-founded the Communauté des entreprises à mission (Community of Mission-Driven Companies), the leading association for mission-driven companies (legal framework since the Pacte Law), launched in 2018, and sits on its board of directors. She also sits on the supervisory board of the Ouest-France group and the strategic committee of Ipso Santé.
She has 20 years of experience in the field of impact and CSR. She has played a key role in promoting diversity in France: as a research fellow at the Institut Montaigne think tank, co-author of the 2004 report “Les oubliés de l’égalité des chances” (The Forgotten Ones of Equal Opportunity), and co-author and initiator of the Diversity Charter in October 2004 (initially signed by 35 CEOs of major corporations). She was an advisor to the French Ministry of Equal Opportunities in 2005-2006.
Laurence is French-American, a graduate of CELSA and holds a degree in urban planning and development (Dess).
