Jonathan Piquet

Jonathan joined Citizen Capital in 2019 as an investment director and then partner, responsible for the Growth & Capital Development Fund.

Before joining the company, he worked at Proparco, where he managed growth capital transactions on the African continent (direct and indirect investment). Prior to Proparco, Jonathan held various investment positions in French private equity funds, notably at Bridgepoint Capital, where he became an Associate and was directly involved in growth capital and buyout transactions in the lower midmarket segment in France.
Jonathan is a graduate of ESSEC Business School (Paris/Singapore) with a specialization in social entrepreneurship and Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (New York).

He is particularly sensitive to issues of environmental transition and equal opportunity. Beyond his professional career, he has worked or volunteered for various non-profit organizations, NGOs, microfinance institutions, and the United Nations in areas such as inclusive education and economic development.
