Diane Roujou du Paty

Diane joined Citizen Capital in early 2021 to become part of the early-stage team.

Previously, Diane was an investment manager at Sodexo Ventures, where she supported and financed innovative start-ups in the fields of FoodTech, mobility, computer vision, and data annotation services. Before joining Sodexo Ventures, she worked for the Schibsted/Adevinta group (owner of leboncoin in France, as well as numerous marketplaces in Europe and South America). She held several international positions and played a key role in the transformation of leboncoin, initiating its evolution from a classified ads site to a true marketplace.

Diane studied economics and business in Paris, Lyon, and Berlin. She has lived and worked in seven different countries, is always curious, and enjoys being part of diverse and stimulating work environments.

In the global crisis we are currently experiencing, we cannot continue to direct capital towards economic models that cause social and ecological damage. Citizen Capital has strong convictions and analyzes opportunities by evaluating “Vanilla VC” criteria through the prism of impact. This approach is necessary to bring about change.
