What are impact bonds ?
An innovative public-private partnership
The Impact Bonds is a public-private partnership designed to promote social and environmental innovation through an approach focused on results rather than means.
- A project leader (non profits) sets up an innovative prevention program.
- Private financiers, including Citizen CIS, pre-finance this program.
- An independent evaluator measures the achievement of objectives using impact indicators defined by all parties.
- The government provides the funds necessary to reimburse investors if the project is successful. For CIS, the projects are linked with ADEME, and the minitries of work and economy.

Supporting the career guidance of high school students in overseas territories & supporting the success and integration of students from overseas territories and scholarship recipients in mainland France.
DUO for a JOB
Facilitating the social and professional integration of young refugees or immigrants while promoting the experience of working people aged 50+ and retirees in France.
Label Vie
Work with nurseries and early childhood stakeholders to promote the ecological transition of these establishments and the surrounding ecosystem.
Télémaque
Encourage students to continue their studies and remove barriers to the professional integration of scholarship recipients and/or students from priority neighborhoods enrolled in vocational programs.
Messidor
Experiment with job coaching for people with persistent mental health issues who do not have RQTH status, and support them in finding employment.

Encouraging elementary school students to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.
Fondation Mozaïk
Improve the employability of students receiving scholarships and/or from disadvantaged neighborhoods, and support companies in their inclusive recruitment efforts.

Support young people (especially vulnerable groups) with mentoring from their first paid job onwards to promote their professional success.

Supporting people with mental health issues who do not have recognized disabled worker status in finding and staying in employment, using job coaching and peer support.

Founded in 2012 by Pauline Heuzé and Marion de la Patellière, sb factory is an expert firm and pioneer in Impact Bonds, with over 10 years of experience. It has structured this market in France and raised awareness among social economy actors, philanthropists, and investors.
As part of Citizen CIS, sb factory brings its expertise in Impact Bonds to the projects it finances and acts as a link between project leaders.
