What if training a new generation of market gardeners was our best chance for a successful agricultural transition?
That’s the bet Cultive is making, raising €1.8 million to rebuild a resilient, local, and accessible agricultural sector.
We are proud to support this fundraising effort alongside Banque des Territoires, Impact Business Angels, and hundreds of citizens via Lita, through Agri Impact, our fund dedicated to farmers, co-managed with the AVRIL FOUNDATION.
🌱 Cultive is an integrated model:
✅ 1 pilot farm campus opened in Vendée
✅ 4 months of theoretical training + 8 months of fieldwork
✅ a partnership with FEVE to guarantee access to land
✅ bio-intensive market gardening, without inputs, but rich in know-how
Why it’s crucial:
→ In two years, France has lost 1 in 10 farms
→ Half of the fruit and vegetables we consume come from abroad
→ Many market gardeners struggle to make a decent living from their work
→ 40% of new agricultural businesses fail within 5 years
🎯 10-year objectives:
➡️ Train 700 future market gardeners
➡️ Support 470 agricultural start-ups
➡️ Establish 8 campuses in major French cities
